Annual Chicago Public Schools FY2008 Capital Improvement Program Hearings

Annual Chicago Public Schools FY 2008 capital improvement program hearings are underway without much public notice. The first hearing was held on May 1, 2007, at Prosser High School. There were only two presenters representing three schools.

Upcoming hearing dates:

Tuesday- -May 8, 2007-Dr. M L King, Jr. College Prep – 4445 South Drexel Blvd.

Thursday- May 10, 2007-Crane Tech Prep Com School – 2245 West Jackson Blvd

Tuesday- May 15, 2007-Henry George Corliss High School – 821 East 103 Street

Thursday- May 17, 2007-William J. Bogan Computer Tech. H.S. – 3939 West 79th Street

Registration for the hearings will be held from 4 pm to 6 pm.  The public hearings will begin at 6 pm.  For more information contact CPS Operations at 773-553-2905.  A capital improvement program request form is available at http://www.cps.k12.il.us/Operations/pdf/ciprequest.pdf
